9.2 Acquire Project Team
Process Definition
Acquire project team is the process of the project manager gathering the required human resources needed to complete project activities. Availability of team members, schedule de-confliction, coordination with department heads are all a part of this process.

Process Assessment
One of the key aspects of this process is for the project manager to directly coordinate and negotiate with the appropriate department leaders from whom they may need to utilize their personnel as part of the project team. Good lines of communication and established contracts/boundaries of human resources is vital when negotiating for team members.
