Process Assessment
The object of this process is not only to identify communication needs but also the most effective and efficient way to communicate. In my opinion this is one of the most vital processes for the project manager to be successful at. Having a good communication plan not only allows for a good communication flow but it helps to build and maintain the relationships between stakeholders that are required for a project success.

(Inputs) Stakeholder Register
This is an example of a Stakeholder Register in which displays the importance of understanding Stakeholder Identification. The stakeholder register contains detailed information relevant to the stakeholders that have been identified. Stakeholder registers can have information such as contact numbers or email, project role, potential influence, internal/external to the project, personality type; supporter/neutral/resistor. This is an example taken from a project completed in PGMT 502 Effective Communications for Managing Projects, that was written by Jeremy Curbey, Reese Darlington, and Amanda Evans.

(Tool & Techniques) Communication Technology
Communication technology is the medium used to transmit project information to your project team and stakeholders. This example discusses using a reporting schedule. The example is an excerpt from a group project in PGMT 612 Leading Projects Across Cultural, Corporate, and International Boundaries, that was written by Jeremy Curbey, Khoi ChuChe, Corey Cowley, Reese Darlington, and Domingo Tuckler.

(Outputs) Communications Management Plan
The communications management plan is the governing document that lays out how everything will be communicated throughout the project life-cycle. This is an example taken from a project completed in PGMT 502 Effective Communications for Managing Projects, that was written by Jeremy Curbey, Reese Darlington, and Amanda Evans.
