13.2 Plan Stakeholder Management

Process Definition
Planning stakeholder management provides an actionable plan describing how to effectively engage the project stakeholders. Its a strategic plan in nature that arms the project team with a clear vision of how to deal with the stakeholders interests.

Process Assessment
Planning stakeholder management is really a process of managing expectations. It is a bout the creation and upkeep of professional relationships with the stakeholders, arguably one of the most important tasks of the project manager. A good stakeholder management plan will lead to stakeholder satisfaction in regards to their needs within the scope of the project. 

(Inputs) Stakeholder Register
This is an example of a Stakeholder Register in which displays the importance of understanding Stakeholder Identification. The stakeholder register contains detailed information relevant to the stakeholders that have been identified. Stakeholder registers can have information such as contact numbers or email, project role, potential influence, internal/external to the project, personality type; supporter/neutral/resistor.
